Students will become construction comapanies and will have to design a city based on geometric concepts. Included in the document is: an introduction and company page the groups will fill out, the requirements page of how to build their cities, a rubric page on how they will be assessed, a vocabulary card sheet, and geometry vocabulary definitions sheet for student and teacher use, a geometry journal and answer key for the students and teacher to use, how to design a brochure for your city, jobs for each member, photos of geometry cities from my classroom, and a teacher tips page that will help you successfully implement this in your classroom! This is geared for 4th-6th grade, but could be adapted to fit higher grades as well.
