Fifth Grade Math Common Core Kid Friendly "I Can" Statement Cards

If you are a fifth grade teacher these "I can" cards for each math area are a must have for your Common Core classroom. These cards are intended to help your students understand the main focus of your Common Core math lesson.  We have the cards printed off on heavier card stock, cut in half, and then bound together with a metal ring clip. That way, we can easily flip to the appropriate standard card and display on a document camera during the lesson. We also have students write the standard in a math notebook so they can reflect after the lesson. The cards can also be printed off, cut in half, and handed out to the students.

Included in this detailed resource is:
-Over 60 “I can” statement cards from all of the Math Common Core Standards that are kid friendly, and easy to share with your students.
-student reflection sheets for each standard.
-A teacher reflection sheet answer key.
-A teacher helpful hints page on how to use the Common Core cards.

Below is a sample of what the cards will look like:
We pride ourselves on creating resources that we use in our 5th grade classrooms. This will be of tremendous help as you teach the Math Common Core Standards. You can find it by clicking here.
