Learning Logs Parent Student Connection Year Long Activities - Wise Guys - TeachersPayTeachers.com
Check out this great resource for students and parents to use at home to reinforce skills taught in class throughout the whole school year!

I have developed a unique program for my students to use at home to help practice facts and concepts learned in class. Each month the students take home their new learning logs with concepts from reading, math, social studies and grammar. Each log is attached to an empty roll of toilet paper and can be rolled up and kept in a ziploc bag. With each new month, students add onto their learning logs! By the end of the year, they have nine months of concepts that they have learned and practiced at home. Each log has 7 boxes at the bottom for the students to fill in each time they practice, and for the parents to initial before bringing back to school. The logs that I have created are geared toward 5th grade, but can easily be modified in Microsoft Word to fit grades 3-6.

Each log also has a parent answer key so parents know the answers too! This took a lot of time and effort to create, but the benefits to my students have paid off!

Your students, and parents, will love this! Watch their learning and achievement soar!

I have also included an introductory letter to send home as well.
